A major educational event in cloud technologies took place at SDU University, supported by AWS and qCloudy. Over 300 students and IT specialists from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan attended, participating in expert talks, hands-on workshops, and networking sessions focused on Cloud, DevOps, and AI.
Participants gained practical experience with AWS tools and solutions, received certificates, exclusive merchandise, and souvenirs, and explored real-world use cases in cloud computing. The event provided a platform for professional growth, industry insights, and career opportunities for young IT specialists.
Our annual Security Day took place in CTF (Capture The Flag) format, uniting students, educators, and cybersecurity professionals at SDU University.

Security Week is a week-long event dedicated to enhancing cybersecurity literacy among IT students at SDU University. The program brought together 153 registered participants, including students from SDU and other regions, and combined lectures, hands-on trainings, quizzes, an IT Law Forum, and a final quest. Participants gained practical experience in network security, Linux, cryptography, OSINT, and IT law, while competing in teams and applying their skills in real-world challenges. Organized in collaboration with academies, IT law professionals, and industry partners, Security Week fosters skill development, networking, and talent recognition in the field of cybersecurity.
NetDay is an annual flagship event inspiring students in Computer Networks, Cybersecurity, and Linux Administration. Across 2–3 days, participants engage in workshops, hands-on labs, hackathons, and guest lectures.
In 2022, the event brought together 417 students and 22 college/school participants from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. 2023 attracted over 250 students from Central Asia, showcasing talent from institutions like SDU, Alatoo, KBTU, AUPET, and ATU.
Through collaboration with Cisco, RedHat, Fortinet, and industry partners, NetDay has grown into a premier regional platform for IT education, innovation, and networking.
